Our Achievements
Knocknagoshel was represented in the 2024 IPB Pride of Place national awards by the Knocknagoshel Community Centre, which reached the finals in Monaghan. The village and its active voluntary groups, including Meals on Wheels Knocknagoshel, are frequently nominated for Kerry Community Awards through the Kerry County Council.
The IPB Pride of Place Competition is an all-island awards ceremony, often referred to as the "Oscars of the Community Sector," that celebrates projects shaping and improving civic life. Past successful nominees from the wider Knocknagoshel and Kerry area include initiatives like Knockalougha Rambling House.
